Biography:

Dr. Julio César Pino Tarragó is a Principal Professor at the Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí (UNESUM), Ecuador. He holds a Ph.D. in Sciences and a Doctorate in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence with over five years of research and teaching experience in this field. His academic background extends to Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, with expertise in research methodology, hydraulics, pavements, and geospatial analysis.

He has authored and co-authored multiple scientific articles in high-impact journals (Scopus Q1–Q3) and several technical and educational books covering engineering, artificial intelligence, and pedagogy. His research agenda is focused on AI for engineering education, sustainable infrastructure, and the democratization of knowledge in developing countries. As an active member of interdisciplinary research groups, Dr. Pino Tarragó contributes to bridging gaps between advanced technologies and practical applications in Latin America.
