Biography:
Engr. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Memon is an accomplished academic and researcher with over twelve years of teaching and research experience in Computer Science and Information Technology. He is currently serving as the Assistant Professor and In-charge of the Department of Information Technology at the University of Sindh, Dadu Campus. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Systems Engineering with a research specialization in Deep Learning, where his work has advanced the applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare, computer vision, and intelligent systems.
Dr. Memon has published more than 22 research articles in reputed national and international journals and conferences, contributing to fields including medical imaging, predictive analytics, blockchain in healthcare, mobile computing, and plant disease detection using AI. His research often emphasizes novel deep learning architectures, attention mechanisms, explainable AI, and federated learning, reflecting his commitment to both innovation and real-world impact.
In addition to his research, Dr. Memon is an editorial board member of two international journals and actively contributes as a program committee member for international conferences, including ICCISS 2025 in Hong Kong. His teaching portfolio covers a wide range of subjects such as Computer Vision, Python Programming, Data Science, Web Engineering, and Programming Fundamentals, where he is known for integrating cutting-edge research into classroom teaching.
Beyond academia, Dr. Memon is deeply engaged in curriculum design, academic administration, and the development of educational technologies.
